If I'm going to Africa on vacation, where can I find contacts/friends to see while I'm there?

Not sure I understand the question, AFRICA is a HUGE place CONTACTS WHERE?? try South African chatsites if you going to SOuth Africa. The resat of Africa I dunno maybe ask the locals where you staying ie hotelstaff / guests where they suggest you goto meet people.

Pubs/bars & clubs good places, listen to local radio stations they may mention good places to visit for a meal or a show - you never know who you may meet there..
