It is the same thing ….A postal code (known in various countries as a post code, postcode, or ZIP code) is a series of letters and/or digits appended to a postal address for the purpose of sorting mail. Once postal codes were introduced, other applications became possible.

No difference at all except in their terminology. In the UK, Zip Code is known as Postal Code. Both mean the same: "code used when sorting mail / post"
US: Zip Code;
UK: Postal Code.

no difference, I don't think. Though your postal code may include the four numbers after the five digit zip, but I think its all the same. Postal codes, though, are international, so maybe thats the difference.
