1) The video was made 6 months ago.
2) Black students did over R3 million of damage on Campus a week ago.
3) White students are being threatened with Murder and Rape by guess who.

Who are the REAL Racists and isnt their agenda just to take the focus off the destruction they caused a week ago?

The ANC are masters of deception and experts at covering up their and their peoples savage behaviour, the entire farse is little more than an excuse to aggressively force integration upon the UFS and detract attention from the criminal protests at that university (and other highe learning institutions) by black students who no doubt make no contribution to the university in the form of fees or academic excellence.

As was stated in an earlier answer, the workers in the video clip provided were under no obligation to participate and were forced in no way to partake in the said "cultural video", they opted for the path of African greed over morals and dignity by choosing the whiskey on offer by the students, no doubt Mbeki supporters.

Had the same incident taken place with black students tempting white workers (assuming they would accept the whiskey which is unlikely), the story would not have made page 27 of the Sunday Times.

I heard an interesting comment on 702 this morning..."is forced integration any different to forced segregation?".

Although I don't agree with a lot of your statement, when the video was made is irrelevant and their is no justification for their intolerance, which ultimately is the message in the video whether or not the workers participated willingly or not.



I do however agree that people are using this video as an excuse to back up their own racist agendas. From the reports I have read racism is a big issue at UFS and has been since they first tried integration in the '90s this video is the spark that has ignited all the drama and blown up all the issues for the world to see.



I think it is disgusting that the idiocy of four stupid boys is being used as an excuse for violence against people who had nothing to do with it. The instigators are probably too stupid to pass their courses and they want to drag everyone else down with them. Mob mentality is scary.



But just as the four idiots aren't representative of all whites in SA the people instigating the violence aren't representative of all blacks in SA. We are all individuals.



The people involved in these violent acts and threats should be arrested, charged and expelled from the university. Their behaviour is just adding fuel to the fire that is already out of control. The police have to put a stop to it now there should be zero tolerance.

According to one South African news source, the vidoe was actually leaked on of the four's girlfriend after he broke up with her.



Having watched the video I don't agree that it is racist. In bad taste, unintelligent and a waste of time yes.



While watching the video I was struck by a number of inconsistencies when compared to what was being reported via the media.



For example, not one of the cleaners in the video seem to really protest. Based on the video alone, they do not appear to be forced and seem to be quite willing participants, smiling through most of it. No-on is holding a gun to their heads to stay there and there is nothing evident that prevents them from leaving at any time - yet they stay.



Regarding the urinating part of the video, one of the "perpetrators"claimed that they used a water bottle and made it look like he was urinating - a very plausible explanation. When viewing the video on my laptop and plugging my headphones into the SPDIF socket, you can clearly hear something like a squeeze bottle with a snap cap being closed when the one doing the "urinating" was told to stop.



Based on this simple analysis, I doubt that the video was racist in any way. Stupid, yes. In bad taste, definately. Crass, yes. Racist? No.

I agree it was entirely in bad taste, but no one was forced to do anything, but again it has given the ANC something to point at white people about while there is little coverage of the white girls that was mass raped and stripped naked by a mob of blacks as she waited for a taxi now this was racist and the worst thing about it is that noone eventried to help that young girl.

Even the government minister blamed her for wearing a mini skirt, this is unacceptable by civilized people.
