Yes, just spell it in normal English otherwise it will look distorted; but include some South African English expresions such as " howzit? " (asking how your day is going) in order to make it authentic.

It's probably best for you to just reference the accent rather than attempt to change individual word spellings to make things south more 'South African'

They are practically the equal, considering Afrikaans is spoken quite often in Republic of South Africa. I am assuming you're speakme about accents when men and women are talking English. I have never but realised that Southafican and australian english sound similar (to my ears the change could be very clear), but yes, both say things like "yisterdie"

Write in normal english, but put in south african expressions in italics. instead of going "Oh God!" put in a south african term of general exclaimation. Like "Eish" or "Jinne"
