Depends if you´re intending within monetary terms, natural resources, human resources or health :-) Kongo has huge natural resources so has Libya.

Almost every country in Africa is rich with exception of the mid african countries...malta,central african republic etc.. the problem is the countries are rich but the people are poor. all the OIL GOLD DIAMONDS etc ar owned by multinationals so all the money from this leaves the country. what little stays behind the leaders keep for themselves and live like emporors whilst everyone else is suffering



the UN/US/EU dont want to end wars in places like Ivory Coast other countries cause then all recorces will go into state control meaning the'l lose money.. as long as there is war than they control the wealth

The most of African countries are so rich they have diamond, petrol, gas, phosphate, Uranium ...but all of that is taken by the Thieves. So the countries are poor
